Overview

The Victim Support Specialist (VSS) plays a critical role in providing individualized support to victims of sexual misconduct and gender-based violence, ensuring their voices are prioritized and respected throughout the reporting process.

• Lead the design of policies related to victim support.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in case management for victims.
• Experience in prevention and response to sexual misconduct.
• Ability to work in diverse cultural contexts.
• Experience in training and capacity-building programs.
• Fluency in English; additional UN language is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UN policies on victim support.
• Proven track record in safeguarding victims' rights.
• Experience in developing monitoring and evaluation tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
