Appian Architect - Remote

Overview

As an Appian Architect, you will be responsible for both hands-on development and the strategic direction of our Appian practice, focusing on supporting the U.S. Army’s digital transformation efforts.

In Short

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Appian solutions.
• Work hands-on with the Appian BPM platform and Appian Data Fabric.
• Collaborate with Appian developers to ensure best practices.
• Develop and lead the Appian practice within the organization.
• Mentor junior developers and architects.
• Work directly with clients to understand business requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest Appian platform features.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Contribute to internal research and development efforts.
• Ensure architectural integrity and performance of solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian.
• Appian Certified Architect or similar certifications preferred.
• Experience working with government clients, especially in defense.
• Strong proficiency in Appian SAIL, Java, JavaScript, SQL.
• Ability to design complex business solutions.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring developers.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Ability to develop training programs for new team members.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution architecture.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for government contracting.
