Remote Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly capable Remote Accountant to join our finance team. This role is integral to the accuracy, timeliness, and insightfulness of financial reporting within our organization.

In Short

• Work remotely from home.
• Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM (AU Time Zone).
• Salary range: $1500 - 2000 AUD/month.
• Daily ledger reconciliations for accuracy.
• Oversee bank reconciliation processes.
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayment schedules.
• Deliver accurate cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for CFO review.
• Conduct profitability analysis on sales channels.
• Maintain product costing model for pricing strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years in financial reporting role.
• Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
• Minimum 1 year using Salesforce.
• Experience with Joiin accounting software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
