Junior IT & Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

Humata Health is seeking an experienced and adaptable Junior IT & Security Analyst to support the development and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure and systems. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology meets security standards and delivers exceptional value. As a key member of a growing company, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute to multiple aspects of IT security and operations.

In Short

• Perform IT security assessments and remediation activities
• Maintain technical ownership of security and IT tools
• Manage enterprise tools and solutions that support the business
• Handle access and accounts management
• Serve as a technical escalation point for security alerts and incidents
• Evangelize IT security fundamentals and act as a consultative partner
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support
• Participate in documentation and adherence to security policies
• Participate in security incident response activities
• Monitor and assess security industry trends

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Information Technology
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 frameworks (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Strong analytical skills with ability to pull data and build reports
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
