Business Intelligence Engineer II - Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our Humana Data & Analytics team – BI (Business Intelligence) team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports using Microsoft SQL Server to connect actions to data sources to reduce manual processes.

In Short

• Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Optimize and maintain SQL queries for performance improvement.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI.
• Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations.
• Work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must align work schedule with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare data sets is required.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL programming.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing Power BI reports.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Power Apps and/or Power Automate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with Databricks for big data processing.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies.
