Terminations and Deconversions Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Terminations and Deconversions Analyst will support the transition of clients’ 401(k) plans to new recordkeepers or closing accounts, ensuring accurate execution of tasks and effective communication with clients.

In Short

• Manage individual caseload of terminating and deconverting plans.
• Create and monitor ticketing activity ensuring SLAs are met.
• Deliver best-in-class client experience through regular interactions.
• Ensure documentation related to plan termination is accurate.
• Partner with internal teams to complete client account closures.
• Configure termination activities across multiple systems.
• Perform reconciliation activities to capture cash/fund imbalances.
• Handle financial transaction activities including plan liquidation.
• Prepare reports for the new recordkeeper.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce churn.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree.
• 3+ years in retirement services or account management.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficient analytical skills.
• Exceptional research skills.
