Publishing Editor - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed and highly organised Publishing Editor to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our learner workbooks, printed materials and digital resources at Huddle. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the learning materials that reach our classrooms are accurate, beautiful, and on time.

In Short

• Coordinate the full workbook production cycle from planning to delivery.
• Manage the termly workbook calendar alongside the Product team.
• Act as the key point of contact between Product, DTP, and print partners.
• Edit and proofread workbook content for clarity and consistency.
• Oversee layout and formatting with in-house or outsourced designers.
• Manage printing logistics, quotations, orders, and deliveries.
• Assist with managing inventory, sorting, and delivery of workbooks.
• Study top global workbook examples and apply best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve the design and usability of learner materials.
• Drive user-experience and continuity across various artefacts.

Requirements

• Highly organised, proactive, and thrives on timelines and process.
• Strong eye for quality; whether that’s grammar, layout, or colour balance.
• Effective communicator who can juggle multiple stakeholders.
• Thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
• Experience in desktop publishing and/or educational resources is advantageous.
