As a Full Stack Development Team Lead, you will be part of our Development team and report directly to the Head of Development. Your responsibilities will include managing, mentoring, and guiding a small group of developers while also taking on hands-on architectural duties.

In Short

Architect and design scalable, modular, and maintainable full-stack architectures for HubSpot solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Lead development of frontend components and backend integrations using modern technologies.

Conduct code reviews ensuring quality and performance optimization.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and recommend new tools and practices.

Assist pre-sales in scoping solutions and assessing project feasibility.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in computer science or software engineering.
Mid to Senior years work experience in full-stack development experience (frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular; backend: Node.js, Python, PHP).
2+ years in team leadership roles, managing and mentoring technical teams.
Strong team management and delegation abilities.
Experience in creating technical briefs and project implementation plans.
Proven success in leading technical projects.
Ability to balance technical work with team management.
Expertise in designing end-to-end systems and understanding architectural patterns like microservices.
Extensive knowledge of development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and API development (RESTful, GraphQL).
Solid grasp of performance optimization techniques for both frontend and backend.
Experience in developing responsive, mobile-first applications with backend integration.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
Ability to implement functional and non-functional requirements for scalable applications.
Up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in development.
In-depth knowledge of HubSpot’s products and APIs, focusing on custom extensions and integrations.
