Assistant Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Hoyle Tanner’s Aviation Services division is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. You will be working closely with our Project Managers to support successful project delivery and ensure superior service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have recent increasing technical or planning and leadership experience.

In Short

• Monitor project progress and flag potential issues related to scope, schedule, or cost
• Coordinate with internal technical staff, subconsultants, and vendors
• Assist with preparation of project budgets, fee proposals, and change orders
• Lead or support pre-design meetings with FAA, state, and local stakeholders
• Arrange and coordinate construction staff reviews and internal coordination sessions
• Attend client advisory meetings in the absence of the PM
• Support the PM in project schedule development
• Conduct weekly schedule reviews to identify delays, conflicts, or resource constraints
• Assist in defining project milestones and sequencing of deliverables
• Serve as a point of contact for clients when the PM is unavailable

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Aviation Management (preferred), Civil Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience with increasing technical or planning and leadership experience
• Salary is contingent on experience
