Overview

As a Commissions Manager at Horizon3.ai, you will oversee the design, execution, and administration of the sales commission processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with revenue recognition principles.

In Short

  • Manage the end-to-end commission process from plan implementation to payout.
  • Calculate and validate monthly/quarterly commission payouts.
  • Maintain accurate commission accruals in compliance with revenue recognition rules.
  • Act as the point of contact for commission disputes and escalations.
  • Provide training and documentation on comp plans and policies.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize commission plans.
  • Work with Finance on integrating commission data into financial reporting.
  • Deliver clear commission reporting to Sales and leadership teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain audit-ready commission documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of commissions or sales compensation operations experience.
  • Strong understanding of commission plan structures and revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with commission software and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
