RFP Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced RFP Manager to lead the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) function at Honorlock. This person will be responsible for managing, writing, and optimizing the RFP process, ensuring we submit compelling, high-quality responses that drive business growth. The ideal candidate has deep experience in RFP management, preferably in a B2B SaaS or EdTech environment, and has successfully led RFP strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

• Own and manage the full RFP process from intake and qualification to final submission.
• Develop a scalable, repeatable RFP process.
• Utilize procurement intelligence tools to identify new RFP opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to craft compelling RFP responses.
• Write, edit, and refine RFP responses for clarity and persuasiveness.
• Design visually appealing RFP proposals using Canva.
• Create and maintain a knowledge base of approved responses.
• Ensure compliance with all RFP requirements.
• Analyze and optimize RFP performance.
• Support other proposal-related efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 5-7+ years of RFP management experience.
• Proven ability to build and lead an RFP function.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in RFP automation tools and CRM systems.
• Experience in responding to RFPs for higher education, government, or enterprise contracts.
• Experience designing high-quality proposal documents using Canva.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail and strategic mindset.
