Field Service Technician Class A - Remote

Overview

Join Hitachi Energy as a Field Service Technician, where you will provide technical support for Transformer Service and be part of a team driving operational efficiency and life-cycle management.

In Short

• Lead and manage crews of technicians for transformer service projects.
• Handle installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of transformers.
• Act as the onsite contact for customers during project execution.
• Identify and report project nonconformances.
• Perform various electrical tests on transformers and reactors.
• Provide input during project planning regarding schedules and manpower.
• Promote a safety-first approach in all operations.
• Must be willing to travel up to 85%.
• Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree and 3 years of experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of transformer field service operations.
• Fluency in transformer installation and assembly.
• Proficiency in Load Tap Changer maintenance is a plus.
• Experience in welding on transformer tanks is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Work authorization in the USA is mandatory.
