Overview

The Cybersecurity Cloud Vulnerability Specialist will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting cloud-related vulnerabilities in order to protect the innovative work in renewable energy at Hitachi Energy.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Utilize advanced tools to identify and prioritize cloud vulnerabilities.

• Evaluate risks associated with identified vulnerabilities.
• Deliver detailed reports on vulnerability risks and their potential impact.
• Implement and manage vulnerability management tools for cloud platforms.
• Automate vulnerability detection and response wherever feasible.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role, with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud vulnerability scanning tools.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, CISSP are preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
