Staff Accountant, Revenue - Remote

In Short

• Create and maintain adequate accounting procedures for complex transactions and procedures related to Revenue.
• Partner with cross functional business owners (Operations/ Data engineering) to develop new accounting processes and month-end close procedures.
• Own month-end close process with minimal review comments from Senior Accountants and Managers.
• Review the work performed by the outsourced accounting team and support preparation of new training instructions.
• Assist with external audit and Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) requests.
• Aid in preparation of slide decks for Quarterly CFO review meetings.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and resolve issues arising from daily accounting operations.
• Enhance accounting operations procedures to adhere to public company control requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert on accounting procedures for Revenue.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of experience in the accounting profession.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
• BA or BS degree in accounting, business administration, or economics preferred.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be a team player, and work well in both In-Person & Remote work environments.
