Senior Manager, State Government Affairs – Northeast Region - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Manager, State Government Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in Hims & Hers’ public policy initiatives for redefining healthcare. You will help shape and execute government affairs strategies, build influential relationships with state-level stakeholders, and drive legislative and regulatory outcomes that promote the company’s priorities.

In Short

• Lead public policy efforts in the Northeast region.
• Engage and lobby with executive branch officials, legislators, and regulators.
• Draft policy materials including talking points and position letters.
• Work closely with trade associations and regulatory boards.
• Identify and analyze legislation affecting business priorities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on public policy goals.
• Execute advocacy in policy discussions and conferences.
• Manage external consultants and lobbyists.
• Support political giving strategy development.
• Travel as needed within the region and to national events.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in state government affairs and public policy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy compounding, privacy, health AI, and telehealth issues.
• Deep understanding of political processes in the Northeast U.S.
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
