Overview

The Senior Decision Support Analyst is responsible for conducting a wide range of analytics and reporting related to the organization's financial, operational, and clinical performance, partnering with stakeholders to provide support on major initiatives.

In Short

  • Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability.
  • Performs ad-hoc analyses based on business trends or leadership requests.
  • Analyzes variances against budget and other benchmarks.
  • Supplements financial analysis with operational and clinical data.
  • Utilizes calculations to quantify impacts of changes in patient and procedure mix.
  • Creates executive-level summaries of analytical projects.
  • Mentors and coaches junior analysts.
  • Works with large datasets to extract strategic insights.
  • Communicates effectively across the organization.
  • Self-starter who drives progress on major projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
  • 3 years in a clinical setting or understanding of hospital operations.
  • 3 years in the Healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze various types of data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with statistical programming tools.
