Overview

The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for training new and existing staff on the Epic system, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize the system effectively and efficiently.

In Short

  • Train new staff on the Epic system and provide refresher courses for existing staff.
  • Maintain training materials and environments to reflect updates in the Epic system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance training curriculum.
  • Conduct routine visits to shadow workflows and identify training needs.
  • Prepare and organize training sessions, including materials and environment setup.
  • Provide post-training support and follow-up with trainees.
  • Engage with IT to troubleshoot operating issues related to Epic.
  • Design and develop instructional materials for training.
  • Manage multiple training objectives effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Education, or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training or educational functions.
  • 3-5 years in revenue cycle operations or related fields.
  • EPIC Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management and curriculum delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in PC-based software for creating training materials.
  • Excellent command of English grammar and spelling.
