Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at West Penn Hospital is responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided.

Requirements

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• Background clearances (Act 34, 33, 73).
• Experience in emergency care preferred.

• Understanding of patient care standards and protocols.
• Willingness to accept assignments outside of primary unit.
