Overview

The Radiology Imaging Aide assists technologists in providing quality patient services by coordinating patient flow and communicating examination protocols.

In Short

• Assists in patient flow and examination protocols.
• Enters and retrieves information into RIS.
• Greets and assists patients during procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms for procedures.
• Provides clerical support such as order clarification and faxing reports.
• Maintains adequate supplies for operations.
• Performs other assigned duties.
• Requires CPR certification and background clearances.
• Preferred experience in medical or radiology office.

Requirements

• Minimum CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 background clearance certificates.
• Preferred 1 year experience in a medical office or radiology setting.
