Police Officer - Remote

Overview

The Police Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at AHN hospitals and clinics, enforcing policies, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service.

In Short

• Conduct proactive motor vehicle and foot patrols of AHN property.
• Respond to emergencies and utilize de-escalation techniques.
• Testify in court regarding arrest situations.
• Assist with traffic control when necessary.
• Complete reports and incident documentation as required.
• Enforce AHN policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service during all interactions.
• Remove unauthorized individuals from property.
• Investigate and manage security incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Security required.
• PA Act 235 Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Act 120: Municipal Police Training Certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physical environment.
