Overview

The Patient Care Technician I provides direct care to patients in an acute rehab setting, assisting with both direct patient care and unit coordination under the supervision of registered nurses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Limited or no experience required; must attend training.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Criminal background clearance certificates required.
• Preferred: Acute care experience within the last 3 years.
• Preference for candidates enrolled in ASN or BSN programs.
