Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care (Telecommute) - Remote

Overview

The Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care is responsible for identifying and managing medical problems for patients, providing comprehensive patient care in a critical care setting.

In Short

• Manage medical problems for patients within CRNP scope of practice.
• Provide patient care including medical history and physical assessments.
• Develop therapeutic care plans and order diagnostic tests.
• Communicate with attending physicians regarding patient care.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community health services.
• Demonstrate professional commitment through continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must hold state licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Preferred experience in emergency or critical care settings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• State licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Prescriptive Authority within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required by November 1, 2023.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Criminal background clearance certificates required.
• Experience in emergency or critical care preferred.
