Medical Assistant - OB/GYN - Greentree - Full Time - Remote

Overview

The Medical Assistant will support the OB/GYN team at Greentree by coordinating patient care and assisting with various clinical and clerical tasks under the supervision of healthcare providers.

In Short

• Assist in coordinating patient care under supervision.
• Prepare and room patients for visits.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and history.
• Assist with administration of screenings and wellness visits.
• Perform back office testing as per protocols.
• Document patient interactions in the EHR accurately.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of instruments.
• Provide follow-up communication with patients as directed.
• May require travel between physician office locations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or relevant experience.
• Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association.
• Background clearance certificates required.
• Experience with clinical duties such as injections and phlebotomy preferred.
• Ability to document accurately in EHR systems.
• Must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 120 days of hire.
• Preferred Associate's Degree in a related field.
