Overview

HighLevel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Media Core Team, responsible for the media infrastructure powering media streaming, transcoding, and asset delivery at scale.

In Short

Join a global, remote-first team dedicated to media infrastructure.
Own critical services across transcoding, DRM, and media delivery.
Design and implement high-throughput media APIs.
Build and optimize media transcoding pipelines.
Develop secure media delivery infrastructure.
Architect and scale distributed worker systems.

Integrate observability and monitoring systems.
Debug complex production issues.
Leverage AI tools for development efficiency.

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong understanding of media streaming systems.
Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Go, Python, etc.).
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
Experience with distributed systems and message queues.
Database proficiency (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Excellent communication skills.
