Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing Higher Logic’s general ledger and ensuring financial statements are prepared timely and in accordance with GAAP.

In Short

• Assist in guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Support the protection of assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Assist in monitoring and confirming financial condition by reporting on SaaS-focused KPIs.
• Help prepare budgets by establishing schedules and collecting financial data.
• Contribute to achieving budget objectives by analyzing variances.
• Provide status of financial condition by collecting and reporting financial data.
• Prepare special reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
• Assist in managing compliance with government reporting requirements.
• Comfortable with Journal Entries and willing to lead that process.
• Conduct all business in accordance with Higher Logic policies.

Requirements

• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with month-end/year-end close process.
• Experience with Netsuite preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
