Overview

As a Cloud FinOps Analyst at HTG, you will manage the FinOps data layer, optimize cloud costs, and lead financial governance to enhance accountability and efficiency in cloud financial management.

• Own the FinOps data layer and build usage pipelines.
• Define schemas and ensure high allocation coverage.
• Refine allocation models and drive accountability.
• Deliver driver-based forecasts and variance analyses.

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years in Cloud FinOps or Cloud Financial Management.
• Experience with AWS Cost & Usage Reports and data integration.
• Proficient in cost allocation models and tagging strategies.
• Experience in showback/chargeback frameworks.
• Skilled in driver-based forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience in automation and optimization playbooks.
• Knowledge of commitment management and vendor negotiation.
• Familiarity with FinOps tools and analytics dashboards.
• Competent in SQL, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong communication skills for executive reporting.
