Overview

The Mortgage Loan Closer is responsible for post-closing functions of real estate mortgages, assisting in the growth, customer service, and profitability of the bank by providing administrative support to Real Estate Lending Staff.

• Full-time position with remote or hybrid options available.
• Responsible for funding secondary market and portfolio mortgage loans.
• Scan mortgage loan documents and track final documents.
• Prepare loan closing packages and fulfill audit requests.
• Prepare closed loans for servicing systems and ship to investors.
• Perform post-closing file reviews and miscellaneous tasks.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Participate in BSA training and demonstrate knowledge of BSA.
• Provide knowledgeable back-up service for other real estate positions.
• Contribute positively to team meetings and assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of real estate processing experience or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent decision-making abilities.
• Able to manage workload and coordinate multiple tasks under pressure.
