Fractional Legal Counsel - Remote

HelloBetter is seeking a Fractional Legal Counsel to play a central role in our compliance team, ensuring legal security for our growth in a highly regulated market.

In Short

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to management and staff.
• Draft, review, and negotiate all company contracts in German and English.
• Handle tasks related to medical, competition, social security, and general civil law.
• Communicate with health insurance companies and authorities.
• Work part-time (2-3 days per week).
• Remote-first culture with optional office use in Berlin and Hamburg.
• Salary range of €3,500 - €5,000 per month.
• Must be a fully qualified lawyer with 2-3 years of experience.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in Health Law is a plus.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer (2nd State Exam) with at least 2-3 years of professional experience.
• Relevant experience in a company, law firm, or as interim legal counsel.
• Technical affinity, including AI applications in the legal field.
• Negotiation skills in German and English.
• Independent, structured, and careful work style with high responsibility.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style (startup mentality).
• Strong communication skills for C-level advisory.
