Pharmacist Prescriber - Remote

Overview

The Pharmacist Prescriber at HeliosX is responsible for remotely evaluating and assessing asynchronous patient consultations and issuing prescriptions when requirements for safe supply are met.

In Short

• Work remotely using a secure Electronic Health Records System.
• Evaluate patient consultations and determine treatment prescriptions.
• Request additional information from patients as needed.
• Prescribe treatments within your competencies.
• Complete patient records and notes efficiently.
• Support team operations to meet customer demand.
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions.
• Keep up to date with prescribing requirements.
• Provide clinical advice regarding weight loss treatments.
• Process GP letters and maintain patient safety.

Requirements

• GPhC registration.
• Independent Prescriber status.
• 6+ months of pharmacy experience.
• Experience prescribing GLP1s is a plus.
• Experience in a telemedicine environment.
• Knowledge of customer service tools like Zendesk.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
