Remote Doctor for EU Online Prescribing Service

Overview

This role involves working as a Doctor in Portugal, responsible for evaluating patient consultations and issuing prescriptions through an online platform, contributing to the EU Digital Health and weight loss service.

In Short

• Join the establishment of the EU online prescribing service.
• Evaluate and assess asynchronous patient consultations.
• Prescribe treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Request further information from patients as needed.
• Complete concise notes on patient records in English.
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain Independent Prescriber rights.
• Work closely with the German speaking Customer Support team.
• Provide correspondence to other health care professionals if needed.

Requirements

• Registered doctor from the Order of Physicians (The Ordem dos Médicos).
• Experience managing obesity and type 2 diabetes; GLP1 experience is a big advantage.
• Experience in a digital health or telemedicine environment.
• Experience prescribing according to pathways/protocols.
• Experience using Customer Service tools such as Zendesk.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Fluent in written and spoken German.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent attention to detail.
