The Director of Philanthropy at Heifer International is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with major donors to secure significant financial contributions to support the organization's mission of ending global hunger and poverty.

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of professional experience, including eight in fundraising.
• Proven ability in major donor development and tailored asks.
• Strong leadership experience and stability in previous roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially.
• Multicultural sensitivity and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising practices.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
