Overview

The Director of Philanthropy at Heifer International is responsible for leading the fundraising strategy and managing mid-level donor relationships to achieve revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of professional experience in fundraising.
  • Experience in managing mid-level donor programs.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Blackbaud CRM preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing people.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and international development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
