Contract Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a short-term, 2 month contract assignment to provide specialized telehealth support for patients with cardiovascular conditions.

In Short

• Provide telehealth support for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluate cardiovascular health.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with standards.
• Ensure smooth handoff of patient care information.
• Work remotely between 16 to 40 hours per week.
• Contract assignment from late October/early November to December 31st, 2025.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in cardiology.
• Current, unrestricted RN license (multi-state/compact preferred).
• NP certification in cardiology or relevant specialty.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in outpatient cardiology or telehealth.
• ACLS certification highly recommended.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make informed clinical decisions.
• Attention to detail in patient assessments and documentation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to maintaining relevant certifications.
