Overview

The Insurance Advocate enrolls patients in ACA Marketplace plans, providing guidance and support throughout the enrollment process.

In Short

• Hybrid position with remote work on certain days
• Enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans
• Assist patients with case issues and provide support
• Stay updated on ACA policies and procedures
• Document patient information in EMR
• High call volume for patient outreach
• Occasional overtime during Open Enrollment
• Maintain necessary certifications and licenses
• Participate in required meetings and webinars
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Experience in ACA Marketplace insurance preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Computer savvy with EMR/EHR experience preferred
• Attention to detail and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
