Overview

The Operations Analyst interprets data outputs and collaborates with project leads to diagnose business problems and develop custom analytic solutions.

In Short

  • Performs analysis of files and processes, weekly transaction reports, and monthly reports.
  • Analyzes files to ensure correct data is submitted.
  • Tests upgraded systems and performs various testing scenarios.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation.
  • Conducts metric reporting and research methodologies.
  • Performs analyses using data from various sources.
  • Conducts root cause analysis to identify systematic issues.
  • Defines data requirements and validates information.
  • Recommends process improvements based on trend analysis.
  • Prepares reports with written interpretations of analytic results.
  • Presents data-driven recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or computer science preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the healthcare/managed care industry preferred.
  • Analytical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Visio.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Adaptability and planning/organizing skills.
  • Attention to detail and stress tolerance.
