Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

Hauler Hero is hiring a Director of Finance to own the company’s financial operations and strategic finance function end to end, building a scalable, accurate, and trusted finance foundation.

In Short

• Own the full order-to-cash cycle including invoicing and collections
• Lead monthly close with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage accounts payable and vendor payments
• Ensure GAAP compliance and partner with external accountants
• Build scalable internal controls as transaction volume grows
• Prepare monthly KPI reporting and quarterly board materials
• Maintain the financial model across ARR, revenue, and margins
• Own the finance tech stack and integrate financial systems
• Partner with Product and Engineering on financial logic
• Maintain clear visibility into cash position and runway

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in finance operations and FP&A
• SaaS experience required; payments or fintech experience preferred
• Proven experience in billing, forecasting, and board-level reporting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Experience implementing finance systems and automation
• Comfortable operating both tactically and strategically
• Clear, concise communicator with executive presence
