Overview

The Hato Hone St John Priory is looking for a spiritually grounded and visionary leader to serve as its next Priory Dean, acting as a spiritual anchor and pastoral leader within the Order.

In Short

• Provide leadership across the Hato Hone St John Chaplaincy programme.
• Uphold the Christian character and spiritual ethos of the Order.
• Oversee forms of worship and spiritual expression.
• Participate in ceremonial duties and events.
• Collaborate with Māori chaplaincy leadership.
• Represent the Priory on ecclesiastical and spiritual matters.
• Nurture and guide chaplains across the country.

Requirements

• Member of the Order of Hato Hone St John.
• Accredited senior priest or ordained minister of an established church.
• Highly self-aware with mature faith.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Affirming, encouraging, and approachable nature.
• Understanding of Tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
