Overview

The Assistant Divisional Youth Manager will provide leadership and support to Youth Leaders in Aotearoa's online Youth division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that enhance personal development.

• Assist in providing leadership and support to Youth Leaders.
• Help with administration tasks such as developing newsletters and consent forms.
• Support the division in achieving goals set in the Regional Business Plan.
• Promote attendance at courses, meetings, and workshops.
• Encourage involvement in competitions and community services.
• Ensure activities are fun and aligned with Hato Hone St John policy.
• Support Youth succession planning.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Aptitude for working with diverse demographic groups.
• Active team player with an interest in working with young people.
• Ability to think creatively and work outside the box.
• Must have computer access and Internet skills.
• Commit to a minimum of two hours per week and attend overnight camps.
