Overview

The Solutions Engineering team serves as the primary technical resource and internal advocate for all Customers at HashiCorp. Through consultative engagement, we identify our Customers’ challenges and business requirements, leveraging our product expertise to propose solutions that meet their needs. As trusted technical advisors, we work closely with our Customers to help them achieve their target outcomes and realize the full value of the HashiCorp solutions they’ve implemented.

In Short

  • Serve as Trusted Advisor to aligned accounts, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Exhibit Strong Communication Skills through effective presentations and demos.
  • Understand the Customer’s Journey and guide customers through value realization.
  • Prove Business Value of HashiCorp solutions in solving customer’s business problems.
  • Contribute to Customer Success through regular participation in customer activities.
  • Drive Expansion and Adoption of multi-product integrated solutions.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams to ensure success throughout the customer journey.
  • Provide Authoritative Guidance on DevOps concepts and technologies.
  • Maintain Technology Expertise in the HashiCorp portfolio and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering role.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, and containers.
  • Proven experience with implementing software products in large enterprise companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical problems.
  • Experience working in a dynamic team environment focused on customer service.
  • Ability to travel as needed for domestic and occasional international travel.
  • Fluent Japanese language skill is a must.
  • Business Proficiency level of English is preferred.
