Junior System Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Junior System Administrator will be responsible for supporting and administering desktop systems and Windows servers, ensuring the integrity and performance of our IT infrastructure.

In Short

• Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to the Help Desk.
• Monitor and maintain computer backups.
• Remove malware and ensure system security.
• Create and manage user accounts.
• Train users on best IT practices.
• Oversee inventory management of devices.
• Manage software and OS rollout.
• Develop mobile device management strategies.
• Collaborate with other technology department members.

Requirements

• High school graduate with three years of experience.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting servers.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts, particularly AWS.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies.
• Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Cybersecurity certification preferred.
