Research Analyst - Remote

Overview

Harbor seeks a Research Analyst to join the Research + Intelligence division. The Remote Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting legal research and performing retrieval tasks in support of Harbor’s law firm clients through the effective utilization of electronic research resources and other internal tools. This is a full-time, fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the US.

• Conducts legal, business, and other research and reference work.
• Conducts effective reference interviews and distills research results into clear reports.

• Assists in the instruction of attorneys and legal assistants.

• Continues professional development through library association membership.

Requirements

• MLS and/or relevant professional research experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience providing research in a law firm or library.
• Experience with legal and business information resources.
• Experience using Lexis, Westlaw, and other legal databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Responsiveness and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Client service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
