Our Minds Matter (OMM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing teen suicide by fostering safe and supportive environments for young people. Founded in 2012 in memory of Josh Anderson, OMM has grown to become a leading provider of peer-to-peer mental health programming in the DC Metro Area, operating 149 clubs across high schools, middle schools, and teen centers nationwide. The organization is committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring that its programs are accessible and culturally competent. OMM empowers teens to build social connections, practice self-care, and support one another in their mental health journeys.
