Overview

The Application Customer Support Specialist is responsible for responding to escalation requests from Technical Advisors and Customer Support, assisting in supporting Key Customer Accounts, and resolving technical, operational, and software issues.

In Short

  • Respond to incoming support requests via helpdesk and phone.
  • Identify and resolve technical and software issues.
  • Manage customer expectations and support tasks.
  • Configure on-premise/hosted installations of software products.
  • Document issues and assist customers with application issues.
  • Requires knowledge of the customer's industry and products.
  • Post-secondary education in IT, Business, or Environmental Science.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing software support experience.
  • Experience in software installations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing software support/implementation experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Office, and Windows Server OS.
  • Intermediate experience with SaaS software implementations.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using Office 365, Salesforce, and helpdesk software.
