Overview

The Medicare Advantage Quality Improvement Coordinator will work in a hybrid environment, providing quality improvement support and engaging with patients and providers to enhance healthcare outcomes.

In Short

  • Work in a partial remote environment and engage with the team virtually.
  • Travel to provider offices as needed for patient care and quality improvement.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on quality improvement measures.
  • Conduct proactive patient outreach initiatives.
  • Collect quality data from various sources.
  • Manage daily work across multiple systems and applications.
  • Prioritize work to meet quality reporting deadlines.
  • Communicate quality performance and strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with customers and co-workers.
  • Participate in departmental webinars and training.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and valid LA state driver’s license.
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field or relevant certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • 2 years’ experience in Medicare Advantage quality data abstraction.
  • Tech-savvy with EMR systems and data management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
