Server Manager/Enhanced Operations Service Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an Enhanced Operations Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support for Linux and Windows operating systems, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for customer systems.

In Short

• Provide expert support for Linux OS/Windows and Infra customer issues.
• Participate in major incident handling and troubleshoot service request failures.
• Drive initiatives to improve operation and stability for customer systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for service request failures and performance issues.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to address customer pain points.

Requirements

• Strong experience in administration of cloud platforms based on Linux in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Pacemaker administration is a plus.
• Practical experience with OS operation, upgrades, and security patching.
• Networking experience with TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls.
• Experience with network services like DNS and LDAP.
• Good understanding of IT security and OS hardening.
• Experience in script programming (Shell, Perl, Python, Go).
• Experience with server automation tools (Ansible, CHEF).
• Experience in problem management and root cause analysis methodologies.
