Senior Copywriter - Remote

Overview

Grove Collaborative is seeking a full-time Senior Copywriter with exceptional storytelling skills, innovative creative ideas, and passion for health and sustainability. This role will lead strategic messaging across email, site content, and brand campaigns, owning how the Grove brand voice shapes the customer experience at every touchpoint. You’ll own high-impact channels and collaborate closely with design, marketing, brand, and product teams to bring ideas to life through sharp, performance-oriented copy.

In Short

• Own copy development for high-priority channels including email marketing, site UX, on-site content, and campaigns.
• Translate marketing and product strategy into clear, compelling copy that drives results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across design, marketing, brand, and product.
• Leverage performance insights and A/B test results to improve messaging.
• Use AI writing tools to scale and streamline copy workflows.
• Manage and mentor a junior copywriter.
• Ensure consistency of brand voice across all customer-facing touchpoints.
• Advocate for high creative standards and customer-centricity in copy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in ecommerce, DTC, or consumer brands.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional copywriting and editing.
• Experience writing high-performing copy for email and/or digital products.
• Strong editorial and storytelling instincts.
• Clear, empathetic communicator with management experience.
• Experienced using AI tools strategically.
• Highly organized and proactive; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Passionate about health and sustainability.
