Overview

As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer at GroqCloud, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure to support a significant increase in traffic, contributing to the advancement of AI technology.

• Design and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and manage deployment pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Lead investigations into system failures and develop repair scripts.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring for system observability.

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience with GCP and modern Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Experience with open-source monitoring tools.
• Comfortable with multiple programming languages, especially Go and Rust.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years experience with GCP (especially VPC, Hybrid Networking, IAM, and GKE).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with open-source monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Deep experience in cloud technologies and automation.
• Familiarity with multi-region deployments.
• History of debugging production issues.
• Comfortable reading, writing, and debugging software in multiple languages.
• Understanding of cloud-security best practices.
