System Administrator - Cybersecurity (Hybrid) - Remote

To strengthen our SysOps team in Osnabrück (hybrid), we are looking for you as a System Administrator (m/f/d) in full-time!

You play a central role in the smooth operation and further development of our IT systems - both internally and in production-related areas. You will work closely with developers, security specialists, and internal stakeholders to provide a stable, secure, and modern infrastructure.

In Short

• System administration & infrastructure maintenance of Linux-based server landscapes (on-premises and cloud-based).
• Planning, implementing, and documenting new system components with a focus on scalability and automation.
• Developing and maintaining automated workflows for recurring tasks using Ansible.
• Close collaboration with development teams to provide stable build, test, and deployment environments.
• Support for internal stakeholders, including onboarding processes and technical inquiries.
• Working with a focus on high security standards and documenting processes accordingly.
• Coordinating updates and incident management with external service providers.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in system administration (e.g., Apple, Debian, Arch Linux).
• Solid knowledge of networking technologies (DNS, VPN, Routing, Firewall).
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge of container and virtualization technologies (Proxmox, VMWare, Docker).
• Basic knowledge in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• Experience in user and permission management, ideally with knowledge in implementing SSO solutions.
• Careful, structured, and security-conscious working style.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken (must-haves!).
