In Short

• Expect to leverage your DevOps expertise heavily in the initial months.
• Work with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and databases.
• Balance platform reliability with improving developer experience over time.
• Maintain and improve Terraform-managed Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement scaling strategies to handle growth and evolving workloads.
• Lead infrastructure improvement projects.
• Improve observability and reliability across the stack.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose and fix performance issues.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend.
• Enhance developer experience by reducing friction in local development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience running critical production systems in the cloud.
• Expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Experience scaling and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience managing and improving CI pipelines.
• Enjoy building tools that enhance engineer productivity.
• Thrive in high-autonomy environments.
• Familiarity with scaling enterprise Ruby/Rails SaaS applications is preferred.
