Manager, Tax & Compliance - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Tax & Compliance will oversee tax provision and compliance tasks, collaborating with third-party providers and managing a small team to ensure timely filings and payments across various jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with 3rd party tax service providers on various tax tasks.
• Manage sales and use tax compliance process for US and Canada.
• Support review of international statutory filings.
• Lead PMO role ensuring timely filing of tax returns.
• Work with regional finance leads for global tax reporting.
• Manage business license and compliance processes.
• Maintain tax compliance calendars for timely filings.
• Prepare and review tax forms for compliance.
• Support implementation of new tax policies and procedures.
• Provide support on special tax projects as needed.

Requirements

• CPA certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant tax experience.
• Experience in international tax reporting preferred.
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones.
• Experience in partnership pass-through and corporate income tax.
• NetSuite and Avalara experience is a plus.
• Effective project management skills.
• Ability to challenge the status quo.
